Overview PEG-MGF is a synthetic pegylated analogue of Mechano Growth Factor (MGF), itself a splice variant of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1Ec). The addition of a polyethylene glycol (PEG) chain to the MGF molecule significantly extends its stability and half-life compared to unmodified MGF, making it a compound of distinct interest in IGF-1 related signalling and peptide stability research.
