Overview Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the first 29 amino acids of endogenous human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), also designated GHRH(1-29). It is widely investigated in neuroendocrine and endocrinological research for its interactions with GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotroph cells and downstream growth hormone secretion pathways. As the shortest fully active fragment of native GHRH, it is a frequently used reference compound in GHRH receptor binding and pituitary signalling research.
